Jeffery Strong Obituary

Jeffery "Jeff" Strong

Jeffery "Jeff" Strong, 66, transitioned peacefully May 8, 2022 at his home. Born in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of Lloyd Sr. and Lillie B. (Cole) Strong.

He graduated from Jesup W. Scott High School in 1973. Jeff was employed at Jeep for over 40 years. He married Mary E. (Jordan) Strong on January 9, 1978 and together they had two children.

Jeff enjoyed watching sports, especially basketball, and the Ohio State Buckeyes, gardening and yard work, music, shopping, and spending time with his family. His sense of humor will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Joy Woodward and Janelle (Bren'Tel) Weatherspoon; 4 grandchildren, Kevin, Olivia, Karis, and Koryn; two brothers, Thomas (Gwen) Strong and Jerone Sr. (Pat) Strong; best friend, William (Pie); and a host of family and friends.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lillie M. Forrest; brother, Lloyd Jr.; and grandchild, Kayla.

Services will be held privately.

No words can express how I feel. The memories are good because the time that Jeff and Mary fell in love was witnessed by me as a teenager. Prayers to the family. I know God is smiling and praising Jeff for a job well done on earth.
