Jennifer Sutter Obituary
Jennifer Lynn Sutter, age 53, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. Jennifer was born June 27, 1964 in Toledo to Jerry and Ica Sutter. She was a 1982 graduate of Northview High School. Jennifer received her undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University and her Master's Degree in Music Education from BGSU as well. She taught music in the Northwood School System for many years and was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church where she participated in the choir and bell choir.
Jennifer is survived by her mother, Ica M. Sutter; brothers, Steve (Sue) Sutter and Brian (Jan) Sutter; seven nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Harmony. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Sutter and brother, Randy Sutter.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 at Christ Presbyterian Church, 4225 W. Sylvania Ave., Toledo, OH 43623. Memorial contributions may be made to the music program at Christ Presbyterian Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551. Jenny stayed with me when my mom and dad went out of town when I was 15. It was a blessing! I became really sick with the flu (to the point of fainting) and Jenny cared for me when I was too sick to get out of bed. In the years since, I remember her as my guardian angel. Like most musicians, Jenny was a beautiful spirit. Our family is praying for Ica and the boys.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Jennifer's family and friends. I have fond memories of her compassion and care for her students and she was beloved by my daughter. May you rest in peace and fly free of pain!!
