I only met Jeremy three times in my life, but every time I saw him, he was always willing to talk to me about the broadcasting industry. He was active and a big advocate in the Toledo area. He handled his illness very bravely and was hoping he'd pull through. Toledo has lost a great man and the world is less of a place without him. We miss you, Jeremy!

When you get to be in your 40s you start to realize anybody you've known since the 4th grade is somebody you've known the majority of your life...
Jeremy came and went and came and went repeatedly in my life for the majority of my life. Sadly it seemed so many of our adult interactions often came about with the passing of someone one or both of us cared for. But that was one thing about Jeremy, he wasn't afraid to reach out and check in on you when you lost someone. A lot of people don't do that because they don't know what to say, but Jeremy, never at a loss for words, always had something to say. Almost to the point of driving you crazy sometimes checking in on you like a little mother hen.
He was also one heck of a gossip when you needed someone to gossip with. And one heck of a voice when you needed to spread the word about something. The guy was not one to be ignored.
The thing I'm already going to remember about Jeremy is that he was unforgettable, because he just didn't go away... He just kept showing up. You kind of took him for granted because even if you got busy and lost touch...you knew, eventually, he'd just pop up again, at least I know I did. I'll miss that...
RIH my friend.
