Jerry W.
Jerry W. Francis, age 48, of Toledo, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015, at the Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. He was born on December 15, 1966, in Toledo, OH to Darlene Francis. Known affectionately as "Candy Man", Jerry ran his own candy vending machine business. He was a huge sports fan, especially of Ohio State, and a classic car enthusiast. A devoted father and grandfather, he loved spending time with family and friends. He loved to laugh and brought joy and happiness to everyone in his life.
Jerry is survived by his sons, Jeremy, Justin (Jamie) and Josh Francis; daughter, Alex Francis; grandchildren, Colton, Vincent and Cash Francis; and uncle, Rick (Barb) Francis.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, August 29, from 2-6 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home, Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd.
