Jesse Graham Obituary
Mr. Jesse W. Jr.
Mr. Jesse W. Graham, 67, of Toledo, OH left his earthly home for his heavenly home, April 26, 2016, in the Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He attended the Jesup W. Scott High School 3 years and was a 1966 graduate of the Edward Drummond Libbey High School. He began his career as a utility worker for the City of Toledo, Department of Public Service, Division of Streets Bridges and Harbors where subsequently, he became the 2nd African American Superintendent of the Division, retiring after 30 years of service.
He is survived by wife, Gayle; son, Jesse W. (Nikia) Graham, III of Columbus, OH; daughter, Karis L. Graham of Toledo; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Micah and Noah Graham; Latrina Moore and DasNae Sullivan; brother, Rickey Graham; sister, Betty Graham and a host of other loving relatives and kind friends.
A Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2016, at The C. Brown Funeral Home, Inc. Chapel, 1629 Nebraska Avenue, 43607. Family Hour/ Wake will be 10 a.m. with Funeral Service 11 a.m. at the Abundant Life Ministries, 5025 Glendale Avenue, 43614, Pastor Cordell Jenkins, Officiant.

Jesse Jr., Karis, Betty, Ricky & all my cousins. I am praying that GOD will keep all of you strong during these difficult times. In Psalms, David said "I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth". At all times means in the good times as well as the tough times. The joy of the Lord is your source of strength. Know that the Ware Family loved our cousin Jesse and he will forever remain in our hearts. Jesse will be missed, but definitely not forgotten. Know that we love you all and praying that GOD will grant each and everyone of you peace.

My uncle, my uncle! It's been a week and it still doesn't feel real! I love u so much. I have so many memories of my childhood with u. Plenty of days going through the childhood I was in just being able to come knock on the door on Arcadia and u be sitting in the sunroom in your chair and aunt gayle cooking and painting.. Please family forgive me.... But I'd rather keep those memories along with many more. My uncle was so wise! He's taught me so much and he probably didnt think I was even listening!! So with that being said to my family I love all y'all I'm going to keep happy memories...... Love always your niece and great niece Jante' p.s please tell my mom I miss her like crazy!

My sincere condolences to the Graham Family and Friends.While he is Absent from the body, we know he is present with the Lord. Jessie was a wonderful asset to the City of Toledo SBH and inspired lots of women on the work force to do the same jobs. You will be missed Jessie. See you in heaven. Stay strong RonB and Eric, you had a lot of good times as friends just keep those times in your heart always.

I'll always remember Jesse as a happy, giving man who was full of humor. I never felt that he was "Gayle's husband", but rather my cousin just like she was and really more of an uncle. It's rare now for families to truly blend like Jesse made sure ours did. Rest well Jesse. Thanks for the memories!
