Joanne (Momber)
Joanne (Momber) Myers, age 67, of Rossford, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 9, 2014, at her home. She was born on April 30, 1947, in Toledo to Charles and Fern (Hall) Momber. Joanne was a 1965 graduate of Rossford High School and went on to receive an associate's degree from Owens Community College. She was employed with St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center as an operations supervisor. In her free time, Joanne loved to play Bingo, going to breakfast at Moody's, attend to her animals and most of all spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her loving children, Kim (Dennis) Dillon and Kevin Myers; grandchildren, Andrew and Jacob Dillon; mother, Verna Momber; sisters, Charlene Anderson, Sharon (William) Grames, Terry (Chris) Pope and Marsha (Ken) Boris; aunt and uncle, Louise and Jerry Hall, and special cousins, Denise and Jerry McCarty. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Joanne was preceded in death by her mother and father; sister and brother in-law, Linda and Robert Gyori, and sister, Barbara Collins.
Family and friends may visit at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, 830 Lime City Rd. beginning at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, where funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be private. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be directed to Chicago Shriners Hospital at office of Development Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607 or the Toledo Humane Society, 1920 Indianwood Circle, Maumee, OH 43537. To all who knew and loved Joanne, know that you are not alone in your grief. She was a good friend to all those fortunate enough to call her that. Always laughing and seeing the good in things. She was so very proud of Kevin and Kimberly and her boys Drew and Jacob, always talking about you with a light of love in her eyes. DJ she could rest easy knowing they had you to take care of them. Tuesday night Bunco will not be the same. We can say farewell but not goodbye because we will always have her in our hearts and memories. RIP IN PEACE MY FRIEND
