May 20, 1938 - January 1, 2021
John "Wayne" Crosslin, 82 of Temperance, Michigan, died Friday, January 1, 2021, at Ebeid Hospice Residence. Born May 20, 1938, in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of Edward and Elizabeth (Bomar) Crosslin. Wayne married Karen J. Jenne on September 29, 1962. He retired as an inspector in 1998 from GM Powertrain in Toledo after 39 years of service. He was an active member of Blissfield Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Karen; children, Greg (Vick Iott-Schultz) Crosslin, Cheryl (Lawrence) Pond, Clifford Crosslin, Janel (Brett) Stevens and Beth Williams; sisters, Billie (Dale) Miller and Shirley Hoerr; 19 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ira Saultz and Mary Knarr.
Visitation with COVID-19 guidelines will be on Friday, January 8, 2021, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, January 9, 2021, at the Blissfield Baptist Church, 717 North Monroe Street, Blissfield, MI 49228. Burial will be private. Memorials may be made to Blissfield Baptist Church.

Karen, I am so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. You may or may not remember but Wayne gave me a quantity of ties (wool) and a large collection of cufflinks and tie bars. I still use the ties and cuff links regularly in my travels. When I wear either the ties or the cufflinks, I think of Wayne. Those are great memories for me. May God give you comfort in these tough days ahead, but know that someone thinks of Wayne often. Please take care! Brad Mutchler
