John Eggl Obituary
John (Jack) Patrick Eggl passed away October 12, 2023. He was born July 25, 1927 to Charles and Nora (Daly) Eggl. He graduated from Central Catholic High School, served two years in the Navy, and graduated from John Carroll University.
He married the love of his life, Patricia Brazzil, in 1951 and they celebrated 68 years together before her death in 2020.
During his working career, he was a purchasing agent, a manufacturing rep and the general manager of the Mather Springs company.
Jack loved sports, especially baseball, and continued to golf into his early nineties. The Toledo Mud Hens and Detroit Tigers lost one of their most loyal fans. But mostly he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Jack is survived by his children, Jim (Sheila), Jane (Ron) Binter, and Susan Eggl; grandchildren, Kristen (Ramez), Caitlin (Patrick), Stephen, Alex, Graham (Laura), Dylan, and Charlie; great-grandchildren, Annika, Jack, Keaton and Nathan.
A visitation will be held on November 4, 2023 at St. Patrick's of Heatherdowns at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass at 10:00 a.m. There will be a private family burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack's memory may be made to the donor's choice. Coyle funeral home is assisting the family with arrangements. Please leave a condolence message at CoyleFuneralHome.com.

Sad to see my last relative has passed, my mother Mary B. was the first in the family to pass at age 64. My Uncle Jack was a very kind man, I thought of him often after my Aunt had passed. Prayers & sympathy to my cousins Jim, Jane & Susie, Love Diane

I was raised in St. Agnes Parish and being at the Eggl´s house was a frequent event. Janie was a good friend. Their house was always welcoming and Mr. Eggl always found time to chat. What a remarkable life he lived. May he rest in peace.
