John Gruhler, age 39, peacefully passed in his home on Saturday, November 27, 2021 with his father by his side. Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio to Deborah and John Gruhler.
John is survived by his children, Madison and JonMichael Gruhler; sister; nieces; and a large extended family.
John turned friends into family. Always up for an adventure, traveling, making/producing music, talking on the phone or chatting by a fire. John made a career as a Cable Technician. He loved deeply and always left a lasting impression on others.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 22, from 3-5:00 p.m. at Vision Ministries, 1630 Broadway, Toledo OH with a Celebration of Life to follow, location to be announced. Memorial donations maybe given to family.

I had the pleasure of getting know and fall in love with this man, before we even met. We could not be together because time and circumstance would not allow it. One thing is certain. When I discovered his obituary say before yesterday. It has broken an already broken heart. John was so smart,sweet,understanding,patient, gentle,and breathtakingly handsome ! I was captivated by his mere existence. To know that this man is no longer on this earth, completely destroys me ! I love u forever John Micheal Gruhler ! God has another really special Angel ! I wrote you this poem love.

This still hurts to know you are no longer here and I´m not able to call you and you call me. I will miss our long talks about everything and anything. You were my best guy friend ever. Always kept it real.... I swear I miss all of that. You were a great friend and I will always keep you in my heart and cherish our talks and the times when we hung out.
