John E. Salwicz

SALWICZ John E. John passed away on May 1, 2009, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama. He was born on December 24, 1944, in Toledo, Ohio and lived in this area most of his life. He was employed by Jeep as a line supervisor for 23 years until 2005 when he was disabled. He and his wife moved to Enterprise, Alabama two years ago for the milder temperatures. John had many hobbies which he enjoyed including racing stock cars at Toledo Speedway, later he enjoyed golfing, stamp collecting, gardening, working with model trains, and spending time with his grandchildren. John is survived by his wife of 42 years, Louise (Ginn); one daughter, Shannon (Sean) Hurley and four grandchildren, Jordan Marie, Chandler Jay, Devin Alexander and Alyse Noelle; four sisters, Catherine (Michael) Kovak of Sterling Heights, Michigan, Patricia Ginn of Curtice, Ohio, Martha (Kent) Jeffery of Toledo, Ohio, And Barbara Salwisz of Toledo, Ohio. John was preceded in death by both parents, Frank Salwisz of Toledo and Martha Hoeppner of Toledo.
