John Wilcik Obituary

John J. Wilcik

John J. Wilcik, age 72, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away March 20, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was born September 21, 1945 in Toledo to Joseph and Leona (Bendle) Wilcik. John was employed as an Engineer with Norfolk and Southern Railroad for more than 40 years retiring in 2008. He had a great sense of humor, loved working out with his friends and enjoyed deer hunting. John was active with First United Methodist Church of Perrysburg.

John is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Emily J. Wilcik; daughters, Corey (Reed) Walbolt, Nancy Wilcik and Amy (Mike) Rosendaul; granddaughter, Brooke Wilcik and grand dogs, "Charlotte and Benji." In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn Thomas.

Per John's wishes, services will be private. The Newcomer SW Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements (419-381-1900).

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in John's memory.

Sorry to hear about John's death. My condolences go out to his family. I only worked around him for a short time and he was liked by all who knew him.
