John Wisnewski Obituary
John T. Wisnewski, age 67, of Toledo's Point Place Community, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. He was born October 28, 1950 in Toledo to Chester and Loretta (Lasinski) Wisniewski. John had a lifelong love for the game of golf. An avid sports enthusiast, he enjoyed following local sports teams, especially the Detroit Tigers and Lions.
John is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Linda D. Wisnewski; children, Lisa (Shannon) Wilson, Aaron (Michelle) Wisnewski and Tim (Lindsey) Wisnewski; grandchildren, Michael, Kayla, Blake, Teddy and Anna; brother, Robert Wisniewski; and aunt, Wanda Doktor. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family and friends may visit Tuesday, May 29 from 2-8 p.m. at David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St. Toledo, OH, where a scripture service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services for John will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 5153 N. Summit St. Toledo, OH 43611. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
