Joseph Constanzo Obituary
Joseph L. Costanzo, age 84, of Temperance, Michigan, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Toledo Hospital. He was born on February 6, 1939, in Toledo, Ohio, to Gustavo and Ann Costanzo. Joe was a 1957 graduate of Waite High School and served in the United States Army Reserve. He married his wife, Jeanetta on February 1, 1964 and together they started their family. Joe worked as a furniture sales manager for the Lion Store for over 40 year, retiring on December 24, 1998. Joe enjoyed fishing, boating and golfing. He was a marshal at Bedford Hills Golf Club and a member of Riverview Yacht Club. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jeanetta Costanzo; children, Debbie (Rick) Longenecker, Lori (Mark) Gruetter, Jeff (Deanna) Costanzo, and Joe (Teresa) Costanzo; grandchildren, Kayla (Ian), Cassie, Jack, Ally, Madi, Vinny, and Mark; brother, Gus (Charlotte) Costanzo; sister, Theresa Costanzo, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Road in Oregon on Monday, May 8, 2023, from 2-8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Walbridge, where family will greet guests after 9:00 a.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
