Joyce was the dearest friend I ever had. The past few months were hard on her and her family but she stayed upbeat every time we talked. I love her like a sister and will miss her dearly. Dear Dick, George, Danny, Amy & Beth, My heart goes out to all of you and your family. To say "goodbye" to someone so very special is hard to do. Joyce was a very dear and loving Friend to me (and to many others also). She will truly be missed! But we know we shall see Her again and I look forward to that day. Love and prayers for you all. Joyce was a wonderful friend and neighbor. Also the adopted mother to my children Sandy,Joe and Tammy.I will always have great memories of the time we spent together,Our thoughts and prayers are with you Dick and family.

Oh My dear friends, Joyce was allways remembered, how she and my Mother would talk and laugh together, how she allways gave me a tender hug,a sweet smile, and a soft word to encourage me and my son. As a tear falls down my face I am happy to know her place, no more sorrow no tears on her face, for she loves our SAVIOR and LORD. Now the plan for you is set I know you are happy even though you have left, We will go on and Praise our LORD cause that is what you would have us do, sweet memories of you will carry us through. We are so sorry to hear of Joyce's passing, but happy to know she is with the Lord and we'll be with her again. She was a blessing to many and will be truly missed. We are praying for God to comfort and hold you so very close during this difficult time...

Dick,Gearge Danny Amy and Beth, I was saddened today when Mom (Sue) called to share this with me. I will always love and cherish my time of being part of your family and for the love, comfort, teaching, laughter and tears we all shared. Memories I will always have close to my heart.May God bless and wrap his arms around you all during this time. Chris sums up my feelings of who Joyce was to so many of us Giant street kids. She was many things to all of us. To me she was my friend, second mother,confidant and place of security. So sadened to hear of Joyce's passing. She was a real friend and a loving and kind, Godly woman. She was there for me many times and always showed much love and acceptance to me. I know Joyce is in Heaven now with the Saviour that she so faithfully served, but she will be truly, truly missed.

i will miss your words of wisdom and caring heart....what a great spirit and great woman of God....but to the family we go way back and i can still see you all when you 1st came to our church and how we all spent time having dinner together an goin to school too.....your family is awesome....but we all know for 100% without a doubt that mrs. Abdo is in heaven and im happy for her....you are all in my prayers and my heart and thots....i love all of you

Dick, George,Danny,Amy and Beth I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Joyce. She has touched many people in her teaching and working with god. I have many fond and happy memories of the whole family with my family when the children were small. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you during his difficult time.
