Katie was the definition of a hard worker and an all around great person. Her spirit was always high and did what she could to make others happy. It was an honor to have known her and work with her. Katie is one of the only reasons for the longest time that I stayed working at Marco's in Oak Harbor. She Got me though an extremely rough time, she was always there to listen to me she never judged and was always sympathetic. We had our secrets and I could tell her anything. I'm sorry we didn't get to keep her here with us longer. To James and to the kids Sorry will never express how I feel at the loss of our wonderful wife, mother, and friend. If you ever need anything and I mean anything. Please do not hesitate to ask. Blessed Be.

James, I have lost track of you and Katie over the years and am deeply saddened to read that this tragedy has occurred in your lives.
