Katie Walton-Sheppard Obituary
Katie Beth
Katie Beth Walton-Sheppard, 29, passed away suddenly on November 2, 2012. She would have turned 30 on November 27, 2012.
Katie was a 2001 graduate of Northview High School. She attended Nursing School after high school. Katie was a manager at LaSalle Cleaners for over 5 years. She loved her family and adored her dog, Pixie. Katie had a great personality and love of life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Katie was preceded in death by her grandmother, Barbara Walton; grandpa, David Inman, and uncle, Jimmy Walton. Left to cherish her memory is her papa, Clarence Walton; grandma, Carol Inman, her father, Robert (Bobbie) Walton; siblings, Samantha, Andrew and Alexandria Walton; niece, Olivia; aunt, Linda (Chuck); aunt, Cheryl Reash; special cousins, Sarah (Brandon) Wetter, Nicholas Platt and Sadie (Nick) Gentry; special friends, Darra, Stephanie, and the Resnick Family.
A Candlelight Vigil will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at 1861 Rivard Road.
The family will receive guests on Thursday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). The funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday morning in the funeral home. Burial at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

Katie was always so full of life...Just remember during this time of sorrow, that Katie is smiling and having a wonderful time re-uniting with ALL of our loved ones that were there to welcome her HOME....

I was sadden to hear about Katie. I didn't really know Katie but she was family 3rd cousin I believe. Prayers are with the ones that was closest to her. Justice for Katie!!
