Keith Simrell Obituary

Keith W. Simrell, age 51, of Maumee passed away on February 11, 2006, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo after a valiant battle with cancer. Keith was born on September 10, 1954, in Toledo, OH, to James and Erma (Jacobs) Simrell. His father preceded him in death. He married his beautiful bride, Connie (Kajfasz) on October 5, 1990, and devoted himself to her and their children. Keith was employed for 22 years by Mobile Meals of Toledo, where he touched the lives of so many people with his kindness and compassion. In his leisure time, he enjoyed listening to Detroit Tigers baseball and going to their games, listening to the oldies, his paddleboat at the lake, lounging at the pool but most of all, he loved his family and his dog, Bailey.
Keith is survived by his loving wife, Connie; his children, Scott (Melissa) Clay, Ben (Melissa) Clay and Angela (Eric Kemp) Clay; mother, Erma Simrell; his twin sister, Vicki Simrell; grandchildren, Hunter, Alec, Noah, Jacob, Arianna, Grant and baby Eric. Also surviving is Keith's mother and father in-law, Daniel and Delores Kajfasz and many other relatives. Keith will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, for he touched so many lives in so many ways.
Friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St. Maumee on Monday, February 13, 2006, from 2-9 p.m. where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Roth Memorial Cemetery, Monclova, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions to Mobile Meals of Toledo or Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Special thanks to Dixie and Judy and the staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Flower Hospital, Mobile Meals of Toledo, the staff at Dr.'s Humeniuk and Burke and Fischer Tool & Die.
And Jesus said,
"Well done, thou good and faithful servant, well done!"
