Mr. LaPercy D. Allen, Jr., 17, of Toledo, OH, passed away unexpected, Monday, November 28, 2016. He was a student attending the Jesup W. Scott High School and is survived by mother, Tylisha J. Gary; father, LaPercy D. Allen Sr.; brothers, Phillip Darrington, Damond Allen, Donathon Burt and Treeq Allen; sisters, Tanja'Ray, Diamond and Heaven Allen and Dashawnna Frazier; grandparents, Yolanda (Lavern) Liggins, Lisa Allen, Tyrone Crawford and Isaac (Diana) Bugsby; godmother, Rachel Carter; special uncle, Kim Carter and a host of other loving relatives and kind friends.
A visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at The C. Brown Funeral Home, Inc. Chapel, 1629 Nebraska Avenue, 43607 with Family Hour/Wake, Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 10 a.m. and Funeral Services at 11 a.m. at the Jerusalem MB Church, 445 Dorr Street, 43604. The Reverend Dr. W. L. Perryman Jr., Pastor and Officiant. Burial at the Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.

I had the opportunity to work with this young man and it was truly heartbreaking to hear of his loss in such a tragic way.
