To The Gladieux Family,

I just want to express my sincere sympathy to all of you. You all do not know me but I knew Laurie because she use to watch me play golf at the Jamie Farr each year. I am a friend of the Brennan's and I met her through them. She was quite a fan of mine and I remember her walking in my gallery sometimes with Kendra at her side. God Bless -- Tracy

Tim, although I can only count on my hands the number of times I had the pleasure of Laurie’s company, I trust that the memories she gave you over her lifetime, and especially the children you created together, will keep your smile as bright as I’ve known it to be since the day I arrived at the Lake 35 years ago. Laurie’s diligence in continuing your family’s traditions made your neighborhoods stronger and your home a sanctuary your mother would be so proud of. I don’t know what else to say but that I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Dear Tim, Kendra, Monica, Marissa, Virgil; Mr. Ken Lay and the Lay Family,

Dick and I were shocked and saddened to hear of Laurie's passing. I have such wonderful memories of Laurie in the 90's when we thought we could be the best golfers in the world; we met at Inverness for all of the children's affairs and enjoyed being with both of you at YPO events. Dick also fondly remembers growing up with Laurie. Our love and healing to all of you.

How very sad indeed. We lived in Ottawa Hills for 10 years and Laurie was a fixture at the schools, always helping out and always with a cheery smile on her face. How sad when the good die young.

Tim:

I remember when you and Laurie were first engaged. We meant at Doc's engagement party in Toldeo. I found Laurie very personable at that time. I regret not being able to spend more time with you or her over the years. I mourn your loss but know you have inner untapped strength to draw on. Your friends are there for you and I know Doc will always be at the ready should you need anything. Do not hesitate to ask.
