Leon E. WEBB

WEBB Leon E. Leon E. Webb, 77, of Sylvania, OH, passed away Tuesday November 24, 2009, at Ebeid Hospice. Leon was employed as a laboratory supervisor with DuPont for many years and was fortunate to have enjoyed 24 years of retirement. He was proud to have served with the United States Army during the Korean War, where he was awarded the Bronze Star. Leon was a member of V.F.W. Post 2898 and the Sylvania Moose. He was an avid golfer and was thrilled to have made a hole in one. Leon is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Leta M. Webb; daughter, Linda (Bob) Oman; sons, Bernard "Bernie" and Dean Webb; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Ansel, Janice (Mel) Boucher, Mary (David) McClurg; and brother, George (Janet) Webb. Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St., Sylvania, OH, Saturday, November 28th, from 11 a.m. until the Funeral Ceremony begins at 12 p.m., Rev. Ronald L. Dorman will officiate. Following the service Leon will be laid to rest at Association Cemetery, with Military Honors.
