Dear Jane,
Karen and I send our sincere condolences to you and your family.
In 1977 Lloyd called me to drive his sprint car at a time when my career was stagnant. We finished well that weekend and I drove for him for several years winning the 1978 Hoosier 100 along the way. Those days are still very special to me. He always treated me and my family very well. He was a very decent and fair man and someone who was easy to like. I am glad you were able to take care of him in his final days. You are a wonderful woman for doing that and God will reward you for it I am sure. Billy Engelhart

When I was a young man and my wife was expecting a child Lloyd gave me a much needed job working for his company. He had a Big Heart and I truly appreciated all he did for me and my family. My condolences to his family and friends.

Jane:
I am sorry to hear about Lloyd. He sure was a lover of racing and I was
proud to be on the 1979 Sprint Car Championship Team. He bought me a
championship ring which I wear proudly today. I know he will be in a
better place and watching all the races now. Sorry about your lose and
our thoughts and prayers will be with you. Wish I could be there but
my thoughts will be.

Dear Aunt Jane, Linda and Peg,
Uncle Lloyd was always so generous. If we were bored we could always count on him to take us bowling or the movies,or out for ice cream or pizza. What great memories we have. Love, Terrie

Jane,
So sorry to hear of Lloyd's passing. He was one of the kindest friends my parents had. Even when I was little he was always someone that I enjoyed being around even with his teasing. Lloyd was kind enough to give my dad a job that he just loved. My dad especially loved being with Lloyd. He will have a special place in heaven as well as a special place in my heart. God's blessings to you and your girls.
