Lois INGRAM Obituary

INGRAM Lois A. Lois A. Ingram, 86, of Toledo, passed away December 5, 2009, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born in Defiance, Ohio on August 26, 1923, to Clyde and Esther (Kimberly) Winterhalder. Lois worked for many years at Vallet Paint as a bookkeeper, retiring in 1985. Lois also worked for the former Hillcrest Hotel and in later years was employed with Supreme Bumpers and AP Parts. For many years, Lois was an active volunteer at Franklin School PTA and as a Brownie leader. Lois was a deacon at the former Second Baptist Church. Her membership's included Cass Road Baptist Church and Maumee Eagles Lodge # 2562. Lois is survived by her children, Sarah (Bob) Schuman, Linda (Eulan "Tom") Tucker, Alfreda Carswell, Judith Achinger; sisters, Marjorie Winterhalder and Donna Jean Lytle. Lois is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Randy Lytle and son-in-law, Joe Achinger. Friends may call at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Avenue on Monday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Independence Cemetery, Defiance, Ohio. Memorials may be directed to Cass Road Baptist Church Building Fund. www.egglestonmeinert.com
