Lowell "Bob" Robert Baumker, Jr., of Temperance, MI, formerly of Toledo, Ohio passed away unexpectedly in his sleep, on the morning of Friday, September 15, 2023.

Lowell was a loving husband to his wife, Mary Frances (Szyperski) Baumker, for almost 52 years. Lowell was a family man with a strong love for his wife, 6 children, and his 11 grandchildren. His passions included photography, smoking his pipe, and spending time with his family. Lowell was also an avid reader, a creator of words and had a great sense of humor. He was a man of strong faith and loved the Lord.

Before retiring, Lowell was a successful businessman helping to run the family business Baumker Manufacturing. He also was a 32nd Degree Mason and was known for his exceptional Wedding Photography (independent) and portraits at Powell's Studios.

Lowell leaves behind wife, Mary Baumker; daughters, Tammy (Tom) Page and Sarah (Matt) Itoney; son, Andrew (Cristina); and grandchildren, David and Brian (Kathryn) Page, Dylan Wesley and Audrey Itoney, Cristian and Jessica Barrera, Caroline, Gavin, Elizabeth (Libby), Sophia, and Joseph Baumker.

Lowell was preceded in death by his sons, Tim, Tom, and Tony Baumker; his younger siblings, Lynne (Baumker) Abbott and William "Bill" Baumker. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Lowell Robert Baumker, Sr. and Helen (Harrison) Baumker.

There will be no visitation at this time for Lowell per his wishes. A Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
