Marian (Sliwinski)
Marian (Sliwinski) Pena, age 53, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 28, 2014.
Marian was born on March 3, 1961, in Toledo to Leonard and Delores (Piotrowicz) Sliwinski. She was a loving and compassionate woman. She taught her daughters to be strong and patient and
always reminded them that "patience is a virtue."
Marian is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Eugene. Marian is survived by her daughters, Lisa Marie Pena (Doug Demecs) and Mercedes Renee Pena (Justin Gooden); grandchildren, Myles, Mykiah, and Adrian, and brothers, David Sliwinski and Franklin Hunt.
Visitation will be held on April 10, 2014, from 2 until 8 p.m. at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home, 1163 W. Sylvania Ave. 419-269-1111.

Dear Lisa and Mercedes, I am so sorry for your loss. I just found out today from your Uncle Jerry, that your mom had passed. I would have been at the visitation had I known. Your mom was my Godchild, and I loved her and lost touch with her over the years. Please know that I grieve with you. Love you and God bless you. Cousin Phyllis

Lisa & Mercedes, my heart is in pieces for you girls.
With prayer, memories, family, and time passing, your sadness will become endurable. I'll miss your mom and her softly spoken, kind words she'd always express to me each time I would see her. Love, Aunt Tammi.
