Marie Bubenko Obituary
Marie A. Bubenko, age 76, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Mercy Health St. Charles Hospital. She was born on March 6, 1949, in Toledo, Ohio, to Paul and Cecelia (Grosjean) Bubenko. Marie was a graduate of Cardinal Stritch 1st graduating class. She worked many years as a secretary for Aetna Health Insurance and for Meritz Group before retiring.
Marie enjoyed listening to music, watching movies, and spending time with her neighbors, friends and family, especially the great nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed. She always had a smile on her face and kind words to say.
Marie is survived by her siblings, Catherine Bubenko, and James (Pam) Bubenko; nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Jon) Barteck, and James (Val) Bubenko; and great nieces and great nephews, Logan and Peyton Barteck and Brodi, Penni, and Remi Bubenko. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial contributions can be made to Toledo Humane Society or Helping Hands of St. Louis.

Grew up with Mimi on Kelsey Ave playing jacks on her front porch and riding bikes. Ran into her years later and had a nice chat with her. She was as sweet and kind as I remembered.
