Marion E.
Marion E. Perkins, 90, of Toledo, OH, passed away Thursday June 6, 2013, at the Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania, OH.
Marion owned and operated the M & H Variety Store on Alexis Road for more than 13 years. She traveled extensively in the United States, and enjoyed trips through Europe and Russia. Marion was a passionate reader on every imaginable subject. She loved spending time with her large family of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Marion is survived by her daughter Sharon Perkins; sons Henry Jr. (Mary Jane), Richard, and Dennis (Vivian) Perkins; 7 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Henry F. Perkins Sr.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation, and burial will be private. Friends and family may gather to celebrate her life, Tuesday, June 11, 2013, in the Fellowship Hall of the Hope United Methodist Church, 4069 W. Sylvania, Ave, where she was a long time member, from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Those wishing to give memorials are asked to consider the Hope United Methodist Church, Promedica Hospice, or the Make A Wish Foundation.

Marion and I were friends for 13 years.She was not only a friend she was like a mother to me. We could talk and laugh about anything.I will always remember her working out in her yard. My heartfelt Sympathy goes out to her family. She was a great friend and neighbor I will miss her dearly.
