Marlene WALKER Obituary

WALKER Marlene (Roundtree) Miss Marlene Walker (Roundtree) was born on May 10, 1956 in Dayton, OH. She departed this life on July 24, 2012, at St. Rita's Hospital in Lima. She accepted Christ at an early age. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest Williams and Mary F. Luton; sister, Pamela F. Roundtree, and stepdad, David Newsome Sr. Marlene is survived by her ex-husband, John Walker; daughters, Dewanna (Marvin) Lindsey, Tenielle and Shavon Roundtree; one son, Jimwuan (Binetta) Roundtree; special sons, Michael Smith and Bryan Garrett; grandchildren, Dominique, Daruis, Daniel, Vantasha, Sa'Von, Shyaka, John'Naysia, and Johnise; great-grandson, Tristian; sisters, Darlene, Greta, and Gretchen Roundtree; brothers, David (Cassandra), Darryl, and Derrick (Latonya) Newsome, and special niece, Tierea Villolouos. Handled by House of Day Funeral Service. Memorial is Friday at 3:30 p.m. at Parkwood 7th Day Adventist Church.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. I'm not sure what you are to me if you my grandmother's twin sister, but I will miss you dearly. I will find out more about our family history........right after my homework.

im so very,very sorry that i didnt get to the services Marlene was a special person to me and im going to miss her dearly. I am in ATL.GEORGIA but im thinking of you all.Love you all,Paula Mathis.God give you all strength!!!!

Marlene was not just a patient of mine she was a very dear friend and like a second mom to me. We had many good laughs together she will deeply be
missed and I am so glad I had her in
