CORY Mary Jane Mary Jane Cory, age 87, passed away Monday, July 5, 2010, unexpectedly on her birthday at St. Luke's Hospital. Mary Jane was born to Herbert and Catherine Winhoven on July 5, 1923. Mary Jane was a graduate of Central Catholic High school and worked at the Toledo Post Office for 32 years until her retirement in 1983. She was an active member of the National Retired Federal Workers Association. Mary Jane was married to her beloved husband, Charles Cory (CG) for 54 years until his death in 2003. She remained a fiercely independent lady who liked cutting her own grass, trying her luck at casinos, playing cards and breakfasting with friends and shopping excursions. She was a wonderful Nana and Mom, who loved family get togethers and celebrations. She leaves behind her daughter, Connie (George Stojic) and granddaughters, Megan (Jean-Yves Maziere) and Molly Stojic, son, Matthew Cory (Jeri) and grandsons, Gabriel and Aaron, sister, Margaret Cousino, brother, Herbert Julius Winhoven, and her dear friend, Theresa Newcomber. Friends may call at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., on Sunday, July 11th, from 4-7 PM where a Scripture Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the mortuary at 9:15 AM on Monday, July 12th, 2010, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church.
