Mary Lou
Mary Lou Zarend, 81, of Toledo, OH, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Lutheran Home at Toledo. She was born October 21, 1931, in Bradley, MI, to Seth J. and Dorothy M. (Luce) Oliver. She was employed with Appraisal Associates for 25 years; Mary enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting and being a homemaker for her family. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Norman E. Zarend.
Mary is survived by her loving family, daughters, Joy Laursen, Janice (Gary) Grandt and Jill (James) Peebles; son, Jeffrey Zarend; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Pillarelli, and brother, James A. (Kathy) Oliver. Her brother, Ralph H. Oliver, preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the Grace Lutheran Church, 4441 Monroe Street, Toledo, Ohio 43613 Saturday, July 6, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. until the memorial service begins at 2:00 p.m.
Reeb Funeral Home, Sylvania, assisted the family with arrangements.

Mary will be missed deeply i knew Mary she was at the Luthern home where worked many people are going to miss her she was truely loved by all of us there
