Matthew McAllister Obituary

MC ALLISTER Matthew David Matthew David McAllister was called home to be with Jesus on Thursday, August 31, 2006. Matthew was born on February 7, 1979, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to Mardest and L.R. McAllister. Matthew attended Keyser Elementary School, Robinson Jr. High and Scott High School. Matthew worked at various local restaurants and also as a general laborer. He loved animals, especially dogs and he liked bowling, fishing and watching movies. His favorite movies were his "Rocky" collection. Matthew accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior when he became a member of Rhema Word Christian Fellowship. Left to cherish his memory: loving mother, Mardest Crosby; sister, Sharon Henley; nephew, Sean Henley; grandfather, Jefferson Davis Jr.; aunt, Yvonne Andrews and uncle, Danny McGrew, Knoxville, Tennessee; great-aunt, Eveline Norman and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 9, 2006, 12 Noon at Rhema Word, 2340 N. Holland-Sylvania Rd., preceded by 11 a.m. Wake. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at The House of Day Funeral Service Chapel. Please sign register book at www.houseofday.com
