BAKER Michael E. Michael E. Baker, age 56, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, February 23rd, 2011,at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. He was born September 3rd, 1954,to William and Pansy "Hilda" (Watkins) Baker in Toledo. Mike was self employed for more than 20 years in the Heating and Air Conditioning Industry with several area contracting companies. He enjoyed fishing and bowling any chance he could. He was also a sports enthusiast following the Michigan Wolverines, the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Yankees. Recently Mike became well versed with FaceBook and loved keeping in touch with his family through it. Most importantly, he treasured the time he was able to spend with his family, especially his grandchildren. He felt lucky to be a coach for the girls softball program through Washington Local High School Programs as it allowed him to spend more time with his granddaughter. Michael was preceded in death by his father, William Baker. He is survived by his mother, Hilda Baker; loving daughter, Angela (Jay Isom) Baker; granddaughter, Kayla "Kaycee" Foreman; sister, Billie (Tony) Szymanski; brother, Melvin Baker and life partner, Rose Duffy. Also surviving are his niece, Rondah Szymanski; extended family, Ieasha (Cory), Regina, Frank "Josh" (Tiffany) and Deon; Joslyn, Jenaia, Jayden, Kaleb; Jacob and Jr. and many dear friends and family. The family will receive guests Sunday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
