I have known Mike for 20 years, first through my father and grandfather purchasing many cars through Mike, then through Marcy Heller(as teenagers) and to this present day; now being a mother of three.Mike was terrific through these last couple years of hard times. My kids and I will always remember Mike's kindness and addictive smile. I am so glad we got to spend Thankgiving with Mike and Rachel( he played Pictionary!!) that memory will last in our hearts forever. My kids and I will miss him deeply.

Dear Dean, Kristie, and Rachel,
We can't begin to tell you how disbelieving and saddend we were to hear of your father's death. We have talked often about our Chrismas times together and how your dad would walk in the house and straight to the refrigerator. I remember especially how he used to tease me constantly about my New England accent. One morning I walked out to the garage to get into my car to go shopping, only to discover my car was missing. Mike had decided it was time for me to trade it in for another and he drove it away. May the memories of the times you spent with your father bring you comfort in the days and years to come. He was a man of humor and great energy and he will be missed. Our prayers are with you all. May he rest in peace.
Love, Helen and Royce

I lived across the street from Mr. Haddad when I was a little girl. My brothers & I played with Kristie & Dino when we were in grade school while our parents played cards. We lived on Plum Brook in Maumee and I have always loved & admired Mr. Haddad!I just bought a Jeep from him this spring. I will miss him very much & will never forget him! I love you Uncle Mike!

We have been lucky to have so many Mike memories...and as many others have written, he has always been a part of our family. Ringing the doorbell would have seemed silly for Mike. I still laugh at the time when I walked out of the bedroom after a mid-day nap(thinking I was alone in the house), only to find Mike asking for mustard to go on the sandwich he had just made from our kitchen! Last night I found myself driving over to Mike's house, just to see if his little outdoor snowman was lit (last year that was his only decoration outside, that he proudly displayed for months after Christmas was over!) We're going to miss seeing that little snowman out their, we're going to miss you flying in and out of our house; we're going to miss everything about you Mike. Our thoughts are with the entire family...Rachael you will always have a family with the Meyers!

My first car came from Mike at Maumee Motors. I personally did not know him, but he did sell me the sports car (that I wrecked..) Mike then helped me pick out a less-speedy Jeep. I'll never forget him from that purchase, he was just so cool and laid back. I always said that I wanted to have a job like his someday! Rest in peace Mr. Haddad!

I knew Mike for a short time and it seems as though most of the good people we know only bless this earth for such a short time, too short. While speaking with a very dear friend about Mike, I found myself thinking of two words that so strongly represented the character of a man Mike was - kind and generous. He truly was a wonderful person who will be missed. My sincere sympathies are with all who knew Mike.

I, too, had known Mikey for so many years ... and had lived across the street from him in the mid 70's. I loved him like a brother, and just a few months ago he helped me out with a favor for my daughter ... once we talked it was like the years had stood still. He will be so, so missed by all, and my deepest sympathy goes out to Deano, Kristi & Rachel. Please find some comfort in knowing your Dad was one of the greatest "stand up" guys ever. With love, Madeline Scott Burk, Danville, CA

Whenever I heard foot steps instead of knocking.... I knew Mike was here, but then again family doesn't knock. That is exactly what he was... family. Wit like a whip. He would blow in as fast as he'd blow out. Just enough time to make you laugh and flash his smile. To the family...prayers and peace during your grieving and mourning. And to the "family" may our open doors... extra dessert plates...and extra cell phone minutes remind us of the greatest friend you could ever have...."Haddad".

To the family of Mike Haddad:

How sad to lose someone so suddenly and unexpectedly. Mike was a kind and generous man and touched so many lives over the years. I knew him during the late 70's and early 80's (while married to the late Hans Schippel),when a group of us belonged to Brandywine Country Club, golfed and hung out together each weekend. He was a good friend to me during a rough spell of my life. He always reminded me of a "water bug" as he could never sit still for very long and he made us laugh. Mike will live on in the hearts of the people he touched but will be missed. Heaven just received a kind and good man.

My deepest sympathy and prayers go to all of you.

I hadn't seen Michael for some time and had the privelege of seeing him just a few days ago and enjoyed so much spending some time reminiscing with him. I feel blessed to have had that time and to have had him for a friend for many years. My thoughts are with Deano, Kristie and Rachael. He will be so missed.
