Michael F. Sobieniak Jr. Also Known as " Mike Cabover Cowboy" 50 of Toledo, OH, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025, at his home. Mike was born in Toledo, OH, November 14, 1974, to parents Michael Sr. and Joanne (Kurtzman) Sobieniak. Mike's life was all about trucks and trucking. His first truck was a 1969 Diamond Rio that he drove for Jack Gray
Transport. Mike began his own business, Sobieniak Trucking, in the early 2000's, and under his guidance the business has grown to a successful fleet of trucks and trailers. His final wish was to take one last ride in his "His Baby" a 1982 K 100 Kenworth, that he has kept throughout the years.
Mike is survived by his children, Kennedy, Ketchen, and
Kwin Sobieniak; father, Michael (Beth Cunningham)
Sobieniak Sr.; sister, Lori (Peter) Mendel. Brothers, Mark and Christopher Sobieniak; and niece and nephew, Leoni and Noah Mendel. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joanne Sobieniak. Friends and family may gather at the Reeb Funeral Home located at 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the Memorial Service begins at 12:30 p.m. Those wishing to offer memorials, in lieu of flowers,
are asked to consider the Toledo Humane Society. The world is a better place because Mike was in it, He Will Be Missed!!
