Michele Simon-Straub Obituary
Michele R. Simon-Straub, born January, 19, 1958, wife to Charles, mother to her five beautiful children and their spouses, and grandmother to eleven sweet grandchildren, passed peacefully and gloriously into the arms of the Lord on August 12th.
She was preceded in passing by her parents, Lillian (Billy) Simon, Paul Simon and Madelyn Straub; her sister, Karen Dupler; brothers, Wayne and Gerry Simon; along with her two heavenly twins.
Shelly worked with passion and empathy for her students as a counselor at Most Blessed Sacrament School. It was her hope that all who met her would see the face of Jesus in the love she had for others. Her purpose in life was to glorify the Lord with all of her being and she always rejoiced in the knowledge that she would one day go home with Christ. Please join her family and friends in the celebration of a most beautiful, giving life and in her prize of eternity with the Lord.
A memorial celebration will be held Saturday, August 20th, at Northpoint Church (Toledo, OH) from 2:30-6pm.

One of the most wonderful and humorous women I had the pleasure to meet and care for in my career. I witnessed her as a wonderful wife and mother and can only correctly know she was an outstanding grandmother as well.
