Dear Ivan and Isaac,
Please accept my deepest sympathies. Miriam first came to The Victory Center in 2008, and has continued coming ever since, but in different roles...from patient, to graphic designer, to knitter, to group member, to cheerleader, to friend. She was a great supporter of The Victory Center, and we'll always appreciate what she did for us. She was an unforgettable person, who was able to help others even when needing help herself. I am blessed to have known her. Take care, Penny

To all the Leeper extended family. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My late mother, Maxine adored Miriam and I remember her calling me to say that Miriam had Come over to "practice" her comedy routine with my mom as her audience. I have many fond remembrances of you all growing up next door. My thoughts are with you all.

Ivan, so sorry to hear of Miriam's passing. She came to my house to bring me homemade mushroom soup when I was going through my breast cancer and our visit was a wonderful one. The prayer she gave me while at my house made me feel very connected to her. I was very conforted by it. She was a very special person to me and many others. I was glad I had the chance to see her at the Christmas party at The Victory Center last year. I only wish I had known her longer than I did. May God be with you and your family.

I have missed my friend and coworker for awhile during her illness. I held out hope of her returning to work. But a higher power had other plans. Even though I didn't know her as long as others, she made me feel like we were long time friends. Her advice and wisdom will remain forever in my heart. Sending many prayers and blessings for her friends and family.
