Although I never met him, I have very fond memories of listening to Mr. Shousher on WIOT in the seventies. He was absolutely wonderful to listen to on FM. His very relaxed and cool presentation was unique. I often think back to the old days in Toledo and miss those days of simply enjoying great music as played by Mr. Shousher, especially since moving to Cleveland. Very sincere condolences to the Shousher family.
Mohamed, your heart was much bigger than you were! Thank you friend...

"The better part of one's life consists of his friendships". Said by Abe Lincoln many years ago. This was also very true with Moe as so many friends have testified here. I last seen Moe in the courthouse several years ago. He saw me from a distance came over and said hello. We shook hands and the next thing I knew he gave me a hug. He even asked me what I was doing there and offered his help,on the spot. Now that was Moe. May God be with him and with his family .

Warm feelings and good thoughts of many happy times at 26 Erie Ave, in London and in Oregon Ohio. Running about with our cousins underrfoot of our parents, uncles and aunts. The memories linger and will be cherish in the collective strength of our family, lengthening, weaving and entwinning like the ancient grape vines on the roof of our grandfather's house in Karoun. With affection to all his family, especially my Uncle Yehia and Aunt Amney who always were there for all of us, and in sympathy for his children and fiance.

My condolences to Moe's family. Moe and I were good friends in the early 70's. We enjoyed a great friendship. I have fond memories of him DJ'ing and going to concerts with him. There is definitely a huge void in the world now.

We are two of the many who were priviledged to know and love Moe. I will always remember the joy and excitement of being at WIOT with Moe for the first program in December of 1972.We loved working those weekends! Moe was loving, kind, brilliant and a wonderful friend. Our deepest condolences to the Shousher family.

Ina lilah wa ena elayh rajoon. May God rest his soul. Mr and Mrs Shousher, my deepest sympathy to you. He was one of my best friends in college. I never saw anything bad from him. It is sad to know that he left us at a very young age, but this is God's will. It is good for what God chose for him.

Please accept my condolences on your loss.
Although I never met Mohamed, I counted him as a friend since the first minute I hooked-up my Audiovox FM converter to the AM radio in my 1970 Ford Fairlane in the year 1974. From that moment on, I was hooked on listening to him on WIOT FM 104.7. For many years,the rock jams came thru loud and clear as I constantly up graded the stereo system in my car. His soothing and quiet voice was a refreshing respite from the annoying hiss on the AM stations.

Mr and Mrs Shousher and family:
It goes without saying that a parent should not have to bury their child. It is hard to understand Allah's will in this situation, but we must accept and find comfort knowing he is out of pain and with Allah. I know this has to be the hardest thing in life. May your sorrow be eased by looking at all the good times you had with him in life and rejoicing that he has lived. May you see all that he has left in memories, in his children and the good times he shared that will live with you and generations to come. I have very fond memories of college days and seeing Moe in the library, in the cafeteria, and always pleasant. May the memories and love warm your hearts.

It is with a very heavy heart that I today learn of Moe's passing. Though I have not seen or spoken with him for literally decades I can still envision his smiling face. We shared some very good times in our younger days, mostly focused on a mutual love of music and how it spoke to our hearts. I have enjoyed reading on these pages,from his many friends and associates, how his kindness and compassion endured through the years. May all Blessings be with Moe's family at this time. His memory will serve us all so well.

I grew up on the same street as Moe. We spent dozens of afternoons/evenings listening to records in his basement in the 60s and early 70s. Later we gathered on Wheeling Street with friends to watch the 3 Stooges while we are all attended TU. Thank You Mohamed for all the memories.

Moe was one of the originals at WIOT, I listened to him for many years, and he was still there when I started at WIOT in 1993. What a great man with a great heart, and a true love and knowledge of music. Moe was a fine gentlemen, and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Mohamed was always a delight. He was a superb radio personality with an astounding ability to connect with his audience -- an outstanding attorney, whose encompassing knowledge of law was matched by a deep dedication to social justice -- and a truly wonderful human being who could always be counted on at any time for anything.
