Nancy Finfrock Obituary

Nancy Finfrock

July 17, 1939 - April 25, 2025

It is with deep sadness that Nancy J. Finfrock (Yarish) passed away on Friday, April 25th, 2025. Nancy was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, amazing sister, loyal friend, and will be remembered as a strong, kind, caring and gentle loving woman. She was unique and special in her own way. She will be missed by her family, friends and all who were fortunate to know her for her quick wit and sense of humor. Nancy enjoyed shopping, going to the Casino, talking to people she met along the way and just enjoyed life. Her family was her greatest joy!

Nancy is survived by step-daughter, Holly (Finfrock) Connor; husband, Jim, but Nancy always introduced Holly as her daughter; sisters, Judy Holop and Joyce Kopinsky; sister-in-law, Ann Yarish; step-sons, Timothy Finfrock and Donald Finfrock (Kathy); step-granddaughter, Jaymie Connor; step-grandson, Ryan Briscoe (Lindsay); and step-great-granddaughter, Alexis Briscoe; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and faithful dog, Chance.

Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald E. Finfrock; son, Michael Darr; parents, Steve and Anna Yarish; step-mother, Freda Yarish; brothers, William (Bill) Yarish, Donald Yarish and Jack Yarish; sisters, Florence Yarish (who died in infancy) and Jean Hall; sisters-in-law, Joan Yarish and Nancy Yarish; brothers-in-law, Joe Kopinsky, Albert Holop, Roger Hall; and step-son, Billy Finfrock.

Nancy graciously donated her body to MedCure, to support medical science.

There will be no memorial service or funeral.

It was always a pleasure to see Nancy everyday when we worked together. She was always upbeat no matter what. I have many happy memories of her. My thoughts are with her family as they must feel a great loss.

Remembering my dear sister, Nancy ... someone I talked to and laughed with every day. I will forever miss you but am thankful you're at peace now and not suffering any longer. You definitely were "one of a kind" but all who knew you loved you and were happy to be around you. You always looked "picture perfect" with hair done, nicely dressed and ready to go shopping or to the casino. Rest in heaven, sis, with your dear son, Michael, family and friends. I'm sure if you're playing cards, My Al will be asking "is Nancy winning"? You're already missed so much, sis, but will be loved forever. Love, sister, Judy
