Nicholas "Nick"

Nicholas "Nick" Linke, age 20, of Toledo died Saturday, September 8, 2012, in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Nick was born in Oregon, Ohio on November 16, 1991. He had attended Woodward High School and was a member of the marching band. Nick loved music, art, people, and had numerous friends.

Nick is survived by his mother, Vickie Linke; brother, Daniel (Krystina) Linke; grandparents, Janet Castle and Paul Jordan; nieces, Bailey and Lexi, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Nick's family will be receiving friends in the Urbanski Funeral Home 2907 Lagrange St. Toledo, Ohio on Thursday, September 13, 2012, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., where funeral services will begin at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private. The family has asked that contributions be given to the March of Dimes. Online condolences can be shared at

I can't believe it'll be 7 years. I remember seeing your uncle Jeff, an acquaintance at the time, go through such a difficult time from your death. I didn't know anyone else in your family back then. I am so saddened to hear of Nick's death. I met Nick while substitute teaching a Woodward several years ago. He was always so kind and respectful. I truly enjoyed being around him. My prayers go out to the family.
