Oran Kinker Obituary
Oran M. Kinker, age 75, of Fort Myers, FL and formerly of Toledo, OH passed away on September 28, 2018 in Fort Myers, FL. Oran was born in Toledo on November 16, 1942 to Milton and Elaine (Ready) Kinker. He was employed at Chrysler Jeep as a tool and process engineer supervisor retiring in 2001. Oran was a member of the Moose lodge #964 of Ft Meyers and also a lifetime member of the American Veterans Club Post# 1 of Fort Myers (aka The Little Club). Before moving to Ft Myers, Oran was a longtime member of Maumee River Yacht Club. You could always find Oran on the Golf course or boating around the back waters point out all the dolphins, turtles and manatees. He also enjoyed swimming and snow skiing in Vail most winters with Courtney and Zach.
Surviving Oran are his wife, Betty; daughter, Courtney Kinker; son, Zachary Kinker; step-daughter, Patty (John) Pawlaczyk; step son, Todd (Heidi) Taber; brother, Allen (Sandra) Kinker; step-grandchildren, Caitlin, Sarah, and Noah Pawlaczyk; and the ever faithful Pippa the Puppy. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, OH 43623. Services will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday in the funeral home. Private services will take place at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. I was the boss on the re-spot line just out side his office. He was one of the nicest persons I ever knew. Use to talk with him just about every day. sorry to hear of his passing. still got the clock he gave me one day...

Condolences to Oran's family at this sad time. So happy that we could reconnect in Fort Myers after our time together as students at Otsego High School. Oran always had a way of making us laugh whenever we got together with he and Betty--hugs and prayers to the family - Oran will be greatly missed!
