Owen T. Duquette

Owen T. Duquette passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 87. He was born on April 12, 1938, in Toledo, Ohio, to Lucien A. and Corinne (Royer) Duquette.

He was married to Madelyn (Lynch), who preceded him in death in 1983. Owen attended St. Thomas Grade School and graduated from Waite High School. After graduating, he went to work for the railroad, where he remained until his retirement. In between, he served in the U.S. Army for two years.

Christmas was always a very special time for him to be together with family. He was a big fan of the Cleveland Guardians baseball team. We will miss him greatly.

Owen is survived by his sister, Ruth Ann (Ernst) Tepper; six nieces and three nephews; and seven great-nieces and five great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, and his brothers, Lucien C., Leo, Gerald, Jimmy; and his sister, Mary Lou Gargac.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Friends and family are invited to gather on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home - Oregon Chapel, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, Ohio, before a brief graveside committal service at Lake Township Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
