Pamela
Pamela Gipp, 53, passed away Friday, September 16, 2016, in Toledo, Ohio. Born to Alice Mayes and Reed Smith on April 13, 1963, in Toledo, Ohio, Pamela was active and vibrant in life. As an entrepreneur working as a bail bondsman, she also studied criminal justice at Owens Community College. Pamela was known for her big personality, ambition, and love for cooking.
Pamela is survived by her husband, Byron Gipp; daughters, LaFonda Davis, Jasmine (Asante) White and Porsha Barringer; sons, Anthony Davis, La'Daron Franklin, Jor'Dashe Franklin and Pierre Franklin; sisters, Sharon Gregory and Sherry Watson; brothers, Dwight Petty, Michael Smith, Kenneth Smith, Keith Smith and Carl Smith; 13 grandkids; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral Services are Saturday 11:00 a.m., preceded by 10:00 a.m. wake. Visitation is Friday 7:00-9:00 p.m., all services to take place at The House of Day Funeral Services Chapel.
