LAJINESS Patricia Jean Patricia Jean Lajiness, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011, in her sister's residence. She was born in Spartanburg, SC, on November 20, 1947, to Joe and Hassie Hughes. Patricia loved to read and enjoyed watching detective shows. She worked at Foodtown for twenty years and seven years for Hausman Laundry. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Floyd Woods; infant sister, Joeleen Hughes and brother, Johnny Hughes. Patricia is survived by her husband, Richard Lajiness; daughters, Theresa, Tina, Tammy, Tabitha and Jeri; stepchildren, Richard, Dale, and Corry; brothers, Joe Jr. (Cheryl) Hughes, Jerry (Sandy) Hughes and sister, Delores Ann (Kenneth) Carr. Also surviving are thirty-five grandchildren including, Gordon Hull, Dontae Hull, Antonio and Aniya Woods, Lee Bean Jr., Aliyah Bean, Hannah Click and Alannah Hardy and many great-grandchildren A memorial gathering will be held at Monclova Park, 6000 Monclova Rd., on Saturday, September 17, 2011, from 12 noon till 4 p.m. walterfuneralhome.com
