Patricia Rymers Obituary
4/6/1945 - 6/28/2023
Patricia ("Judy") Rymers, 78, of Northwood, OH, was called to Heaven on June 28, 2023. Judy held many different jobs over her lifetime, most notably dedicating 25 years as a bus driver for the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities. When not working, Judy enjoyed spending time with family. She especially enjoyed traveling to Arizona and Virginia to visit immediate and extended family. She also enjoyed searching for a great deal, spending numerous days attending auctions and scouring garage sales. Her favorite pastime was going to the casino trying her luck at winning the jackpot. Judy's greatest treasure was her family. She married the love of her life, Francis A. ("Butch") Rymers, Sr., on October 22, 1959. They spent 62 years together and had four beautiful children and two foster children.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Francis A. Rymers, Sr.; parents, James and Jacqueline Collins; sister, Freida (Collins) Ehrsam; brother, Danny Collins; and foster son, Ronny Kuhlenbeck. She is survived by her brothers, James, Kenneth, and Donald Collins; daughter, Jodi (Carl) Staton; son, Francis ("Butch") (Holly) Rymers, Jr.; daughter, Jacqueline (Mark) Diebert; son, David (Lisa) Rymers; foster son, Bob Minnick; grandchildren, Crystal, Cori, Melissa, Kimberly, Erica, Mark, Ashley, Alexis, and AJ; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Judy requested that there be no funeral or memorial service. She wanted her immediate family to mourn her death privately. Memorials may take the form of a contribution to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, your local Humane Society, or Hospice of Northwest of Ohio, who was a huge support during the past couple of weeks. Special thanks to our new friend, Gladys. You were an angel sent by God.

There are no words to comfort you except she is no longer in any pain. I hope she she sees my sister Ila,they were BF back on Oliver st.
