Patricia Spino Obituary

Patricia Ann Spino

Patricia "Pat" Ann Spino, age 73, passed away on September 27, 2025, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Born on February 2, 1952, in Toledo, Ohio, Pat was the daughter of Leslie and Viola Hart. She graduated from Sylvania High School in 1970. She married Donald Spino on June 14, 1975. Pat was a stay-at-home mom for years raising her twins, Joseph and Sara. She later went to work at Meijer on Central Avenue in Toledo, where she retired after 25 years of service in 2018.

More than anything else, Pat loved spending time with family and friends. In her early years, she enjoyed camping trips with her parents and sisters. After her marriage to Don, they enjoyed date nights with other couples and eating out at their favorite restaurants. Her children meant the world to her, and she loved taking videos of them at their various school activities and sporting events over the years. Pat loved her grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her as "G-ma." She enjoyed going on zoo trips, playing board games and watching movies with them.

She looked forward to her yearly trips to Frankenmuth, Michigan, to see the hot air balloon festival and celebrating birthdays at Zehnder's. She loved collecting garden gnomes, wind chimes and anything beautiful that she could add to her flower garden. Her favorite time of year was the 4th of July, when she would host an annual party where she was able to share her love of fireworks with everyone around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Marilyn Rober.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Donald; her children, Joseph (Erica) Spino and Sara (Ross) Vogelpohl; grandchildren, Nora and Calvin Spino; sisters, Elaine (John) Hesser and Sharon (Mark) Shultz; and many special nieces and nephews.

Pat was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star - Palestine Chapter #51 for over 50 years.

Family and friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, in Sylvania, Ohio, on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 4-8 p.m, where a rosary service will take place at 7 p.m. There will be visitation at Little Flower Church in Toledo, Ohio, on Friday, October 3, 2025, starting at 10 a.m., until the funeral service begins at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
