Paul E. Gurzynski Sr.

GURZYNSKI Paul E. Sr. Paul E. Gurzynski, Sr., 54, of the Polish Village, Toledo, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 4, 2008, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born on July 1, 1953, the son of Benedict and Eleanor Gurzynski. He was Vice President of the Polish National Alliance and was very proud of his Polish heritage. He was employed by Advance Engineering Company in Northwood where he was a tool and die maker. Paul was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carol Burnat. A devoted husband and daddy he is survived by his wife of 25 years, Susan; children, Catherine, Sarah and Paul, Jr., brother, Leonard (Marlene) and sister, Joan (Francis) Stasa. He will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, April 9, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Urbanski Funeral Home, LaGrange at Dexter Street, (419) 244-4611. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, at the funeral home with funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Hedwig Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Paul's family.
