Paul Joseph Kniss of Whitehouse, Ohio died July 24, 2022. He was 67 years old. He was born on August 5, 1954 in Toledo, Ohio to the late William and Georgette Kniss. He is survived by his loving children, son, Jacob (Hannah) Kniss; son, Anthony (Natalie) Kniss; daughter, Jackie (Luke Willingham) Kniss; daughter, Marcy (Nick Smith) Kniss; and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Timothy and Daniel.

Paul graduated from St Francis de Sales in Toledo, Ohio. He was a dedicated worker, retiring after 45 years at General Motors, to ensure his kids were properly supported and taken care of. In his time off, he enjoyed reading, gardening, watching movies and college football, and spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed camping whether it was with Anthony during boy scout trips or with his daughters in Colorado at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. He loved to BBQ, enjoyed sitting by campfires and being outside in the fresh air. He was a big dreamer; wanting to return to Southeast Asia for travel, sailing Lake Erie on his sailboat, fixing antique cars, and starting a lumber mill. But above all else, he dreamt most of spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Services will be private for family only. The family asks in lieu of flowers to please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association or your local humane societies in Paul's name.
