Paul C. Meeker

MEEKER Paul C. Paul Clark Meeker age 83 of Toledo, died Tuesday morning at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born October 7, 1923, in Toledo to Monto and Zella Meeker. Paul was a veteran of the US Army Air Corps serving in the India-Burma Theatre as a radio operator with the 12th Combat Cargo Squadron where he flew cargo and ammunition to the troops. Paul was also a member of the China-Burma-India Veterans Association. Paul was employed 41 years with National Super Service Company, retiring in 1989 as a design engineer, earning several patents for the company. Paul enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing and traveling. Paul is survived by his loving family, daughters, Cathy L. Meeker of Strongsville, OH and Janis M. (John) Walczak of Maumee, OH; son, Philip C. (Kathy) Meeker of Maumee, OH; grandchildren, Corey, Kelly, Zachary, Brad, Sheri and Heather; great-grandchildren, Mark, Luke, Dylan and Michael. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Phyllis; parents and brothers, Clare, Braynard, Richard, Robert and Eugene. Family and friends may visit Thursday from 2-8 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, OH. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
