Peg Bunner Obituary

BUNNER

Peg A. "Peggy"

Peggy Ann (Kusner) Bunner, age 67, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully Monday, December 14, 2015. Peggy was born June 30, 1948, in Toledo and was the daughter of Joseph and Laura Kusner. Peggy, married the love of her life, William F. Bunner on September 29, 1972 and has spent many years of her life in California. Peggy and Bill were married for almost 40 years before Bill passed away in March of 2012. Taken away from us way to soon and sudden, Peggy will be missed by many and never forgotten.

Peggy was a loving sister to three siblings, Sharie Kusner Baker, Joe Kusner and Michelle Kusner Fretz (Eric). She is survived by her daughter, Heather Bunner Gomes (Victor); son, Sean Bunner (Mariana); three grandchildren, Bianca Bunner, Jackson and Stella Gomes. Her grandchildren were her world. She spent many days a week with them. They brought her joy beyond measure. Peggy was very active in her community in Leisure World, Seal Beach, CA. She loved Zumba, dancing and taking her dog, Fairway on walks. We will miss her upbeat attitude, beautiful smile, and positive energy which kept her going. There will be a celebration of Peggy's life held on January 23, 2016, at Spaghettini Grill & Jazz Club in Seal Beach, CA 11:30 a.m.

Peggy was a great sister-in-law. She always enjoyed having fun with us kids when we were growing up. She was also the love of my brother Bill's life and raised two terrific children. She will be missed.

Heather, Sean and family, We're very sad to hear of your mom's passing. It's been a rough few years for the West Coast Bunners. Hoping that all of your memories of Peg are wonderful and close at hand. May she rest in peace.
