Raymond Lashaway Obituary

LASHAWAY Raymond C. Raymond C. Lashaway, 67, of Weston, died Saturday, July 29, 2006, at his home. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Mr. Lathaway was employed at Johns-Manville in Waterville for 39 years, retiring in 2002. Surviving are his wife, Emma (Lee) Lashaway; a daughter, Nancy Rae (Ray) Blanchont, Custar; a son, Dennis W. (Teresa) Lashaway, Weston; four grandchildren, Joseph A. and Christina J. Davis, Ian T. Samlow and Darreck W. Lashaway and a sister, Terry (Ernie) Bateson, Wayne. One brother, Larry Lashaway, also preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 2, 2006, in the Plain Congregational Church, 16011 Poe Rd., Bowling Green. Burial will follow in Milton Twp. Cemetery, Custar. Family and friends may visit from 2-9 p.m., Tuesday in the Wright Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, and for one hour prior to services Wednesday in the church. Memorials are suggested to the church Mission Fund.
