Richard Craft

Richard Craft, 71, of Elmore, OH, died unexpectedly, November 28, 2024, in his home. He was the son of Jerry and Helen (McKelvey) Craft, born December 1, 1952, in Buffalo, NY. He married his wife Joanne on December 18, 1993.

Rick grew up in Perrysburg, OH, attending Penta County Joint Vocational School and graduating from Perrysburg High School. As a youth, he enjoyed competing in sailing competitions with his dad at the Perrysburg Boat Club. Boats were his lifelong passion. He loved going to car and boat shows.

Rick loved to drive and enjoyed mowing grass and plowing snow with his lawn mower as long as he was able.

Among his favorite jobs were transporting railroad crews for Professional Transport, Inc., and delivering medicine to nursing homes for ROCO.

He is survived by brother, John (Deborah), of Penfield, NY; and sisters-in-law, Glenda of Columbus, OH, Carolyn of Elmore, and Meg of Towson, MD; daughter, Delinda (Ben) of Phoenix, AZ; son, Ben (Carrie Clifton) of North Baltimore, OH; grandsons, William Hingson (fiancee Shiningstar Richardson) of Mesa, AZ, and Skyler Stebing, of Elmore, OH; granddaughter, Grace Athena Clifton; and great-granddaughter, Lilith Richardson. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael; and sister, Susan.

Visitation and the Funeral Service will be at the Crosser Funeral Home Elmore-Genoa Chapel. Viewing will be Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and the funeral will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. A meal will be served after the funeral at Elliston Zion United Methodist Church.
